100% no need modification to install this kit. When you install this kit ,you need to cut the M500 8inch CASYPOEA inner barrel.Beacuse M500 8inch CASYPOEA inner barrel is too long. If you don't want to cut inner barrel ,you can change KM 6.04 inner Barrel for TANAKA M500 3 Inch + 1 Inch Compensator(81mm) .
