The 90 has a unique design that places the magazine on top of the gun to achieve a high round capacity while remaining compact. A 50-round capacity is considered quite a lot for a real gun. The spare mag holder allows you to attach a spare magazine to the side of the gun. This allows for smoother magazine changes than having to pull out a long magazine from a magazine pouch.
