It is made of lightweight yet highly rigid aluminum alloy. This prevents the mounting plate itself from flexing, ensuring a firm attachment of the optical device to the slide. When this product is installed alone (without a red dot sight), the weight is equivalent to the original setup, minimizing any impact on slide operation.
