The Mark 18 MOD1 made from Japan Tokyo Marui Factory.
The Colt M4A1 Carbine was originally developed exclusively for US Special Forces. Due to its outstanding performance in CQB (close quarters combat), it has been issued in large numbers to soldiers in the Airborne Division and Marine Corps in recent years, rapidly becoming the US military's go-to automatic rifle.
In the late 1990s, Knights' RIS (Rail Interface System), which featured mounting rails on all four sides of the handguard, led to the rapid introduction of new models featuring optics, silencers, flashlights, and more. A barrel-mountable grenade launcher was also available, allowing the rifle to be adapted to various situations without changing the base rifle. Following the success of
the M4A1 in Afghanistan and Iraq,
the "Modular Weapon System," which allows various optional parts to be attached to a small, lightweight carbine with rails, was adopted by various countries. The M4A1's successful systematic use of military rifles has made it a significant milestone in the history of firearms.
Among the CQB (close quarters combat) models, the "Mk18 Mod.1" is a gas blowback model equipped with accessories called BLOCK2, a short-barreled M4A1.
By incorporating new mechanisms, such as the Z System developed for the M4A1 MWS, it achieves both high durability and operational performance. Furthermore, the front sight post has been eliminated, and a longer rail handguard (RIS2) is included as standard. This model features rail-mounted sights, a 10.3-inch full-floating barrel fixed only to the receiver, and different colored parts, all of which are faithfully reproduced down to the smallest detail.
Realizes powerful blowback:
It features a new blowback engine with a large piston measuring approximately 19mm in diameter. The bolt operates in conjunction with the firing, allowing you to enjoy an unprecedentedly powerful recoil shock.
Realistic moving gimmick
It faithfully reproduces the same functions as the real thing, such as loading the first bullet by operating the charging handle, operating the bolt catch after opening the bolt and changing the magazine, and an enhanced stock that can be adjusted to six different lengths.
Color reproduction and special surface treatment:
The rail handguard, front sight, and stock all feature the same FDE color scheme as the real thing. The metal rail handguard is anodized for excellent abrasion resistance, recreating its color. The upper and lower frames and bolts are finished with Cerakote, a coating with a strong abrasion resistance. Enjoy the texture of the real thing.
Compatible with various muzzle options:
By removing the flash hider from the muzzle, you can attach a muzzle option with a 14mm reverse thread, such as a silencer.
High durability:
The new Z-system prevents wear and tear on the bolt catch, while the piston absorber and friction relief bolt roller reduce the strain on internal parts caused by bolt operation, and the barrel clamp mechanism prevents loosening due to recoil and keeps the barrel centered at all times improve durability against strong recoil shock.
Officially approved by Daniel Defense:
The metal RIS2 rail, with mounting rails on all four sides of the handguard, is officially approved by Daniel Defense, which has a proven track record of being officially adopted by the U.S. military. It is possible to mount various optional parts compatible with the 20mm wide rail.
Adjustable folding front and rear sights:
The front sight can be adjusted up and down, and the rear sight can be adjusted left and right, and is foldable to allow for the use of optical sights. In addition, since it is attached via a mounting rail, the mounting position can be changed or removed
Aluminum die-cast magazine:
The die-cast aluminum magazine holds 35 rounds and reproduces the weight of a fully loaded magazine.
